🌿 A Safe Space to Move, Breathe, and Heal
This 6-week trauma-informed yoga and psychoeducation series is designed to help you reconnect with your body, regulate your nervous system, and explore healing in a gentle, supportive group environment.
Each 90-minute session integrates:
Psychoeducation to deepen your understanding of trauma and the nervous system
Somatic yoga practice focused on grounding, safety, and choice
Journaling & group reflection to process, integrate, and connect
🧠 Why Trauma-Informed Yoga?
When we’ve experienced trauma, the body can feel like an unsafe or unfamiliar place. This program is not just about movement — it’s about cultivating awareness, agency, and presence in a way that honors your pace and your story.
We’ll explore:
The window of tolerance
Polyvagal theory and nervous system states
Boundaries, safety, and consent in movement
Somatic strategies for emotional regulation

Small group size (max 8 participants)
A calm, welcoming studio space in Fredericton
No yoga experience necessary
All practices are invitational
Optional sharing; all participation levels are welcome

What to bring: journal, water, and anything you need to feel comfortable (blanket, cushion, etc.) Yoga mats and blocks are provided!
💵 Pricing (Sliding Scale Available)
We offer a sliding scale to make this work as accessible as possible:
Supported Rate: $180
Sustaining Rate: $240 (recommended)
Supporter Rate: $300 (helps fund future sliding scale spaces)
Payment plans available. No one turned away for lack of funds — reach out if cost is a barrier.

🧘♀️ About the Facilitator
Anna Larmer is a trauma therapist and certified yoga instructor with many years of experience supporting individuals in healing from trauma through integrative, body-based approaches. Anna is a full-time therapist here at Conscious Counselling and Wellness where she helps guide individuals, couples, and families through life’s challenges. Anna is also a yoga instructor at several local yoga studios such as Prana Hot Yoga, The Nest, and here at CCW. She is often invited to community events as a guide, and hosts retreats on her own as well.
